New Confirmed Ps4 News

Party voice chat on PlayStation 4 will support up to eight players, just like the PlayStation Vita, social media manager Sid Shuman confirmed in the comments section of a Killzone: Shadow Fall post on the PlayStation Blog.

"Party Voice Chat will support up to 8 players on PS4, like PS Vita," Shuman wrote.

The PS4 will also feature cross-platform party chat, allowing console players to communicate with those on the PS Vita.

PS4's DualShock 4 controller has digital face buttons rather than the pressure sensitive analogue ones found on previous PlayStation pads.

Pressure sensitive buttons allow designers to assign multiple functions to a button based on the pressure applied by the player, or change on-screen behaviour depending on how strongly the button is pressed.

"With the DualShock 3, we were able to get analog data, which games didn't really use. For DualShock 4, we deleted that, and now it's all digital," he said. "The mechanism inside is a little different, and the data that games get is different."

Cranked – A new level of TDM. When you get a kill, you gain new abilities, but you also start a countdown clock. Rack up the next kill before the timer hits zero, or you’ll explode. In this mode, players not only end up competing against the competition, but also against the clock.
Blitz – An objective based mode where the goal is to breach the other team’s goal line while defending your own – a high-octane take on Capture the Flag.
Squads – Call of Duty: Ghosts features an all-new third mode of play, Squads, which allows players of all skill levels to take their squad of soldiers created in multiplayer and enlist to play solo, cooperatively with up to six players, or competitively. Squads features a variety of play-types, allowing fans to swap-out their custom soldiers at any time with a friend for quick-action co-op. The competition can be fierce, as squad soldiers display life-like, skilled tactics and behaviors like side-strafing, corner-camping, jump-shooting and more. Players and their squads will earn XP, and if you’re offline, be prepared, as your squad may be challenged for play on their own.
– Squad vs. Squad – Two-player competitive, pitting you & your squad vs. your opponent & their squad.
– Squad Assault – Play against another player’s squad – even when they’re offline in up to six-player co-op. Match-make against squads made from around the world, or select one of your friend’s squads to assault. Offline players get in on the action, as they apply strategy too as they can determine the loadouts of their squad, as well as the map and mode that their squad will defend.
– Wargame – You & your handpicked squad of five soldiers vs. another squad, swap out your custom soldiers at any time with a friend for quick co-op play.
– Safeguard – Survive wave after wave of enemies in up to four-player co-op.

Playstation 4 Console Revealed, Release Date, DualShock 4 Controller, Game Titles & More

PS4 INFORMATION:

Sony has announced that PlayStation 4 will launch for $399 / €399 / £349 this holiday season in the United States and Europe.
PlayStation 4 will support used games. Additionally, the system won't require any sort of online authentication for disc-based games.

Sony also announced that trading, lending and selling of games will be permitted, and purchasing a game means that it is owned by the consumer forever.

Playstation 4 Hardware And Specs:

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will be powered by a custom 8-core AMD "Jaguar" x86-64 with integrated graphics APU and "next-generation" AMD Radeon graphics processor capable of driving 1.84 teraflops. As detailed at the event, it will come paired with 8GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory, making it competitive with most gaming-focused PCs on the market. As expected, the system will ship with a Blu-ray drive, built-in 80.211 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, as well as HDMI, Analog-AV, and optical digital output. Sony is giving I/O options a boost with the inclusion of USB 3.0 ports and a mysteriously vague "AUX" port. Each system will ship a "Mono Headset" for cross-game chat and other social features.

The Dual Shock 4 Controller:

The dualshock 4 controller has an integrated touch pad, headset jack, share button, and LED player identifier, but we've now learned that the touch pad features a mechanical button and supports "capacitive type." In addition to the obvious size and ergonomic changes, the DualShock 4 is expectedly gaining a bit of weight, going from 6.77 ounces on the DualShock 3 to 7.4 ounces on the DualShock 4. In addition to helping track a player for motion-based controls, the built-in LED can also be used to represent in-game elements, like a player's overall health.

New Playstation Eye:

PlayStation 4 Eye, which has been revealed as having a 1280x800 pixel sensor capable of capturing video at 60 frames-per-second — a significant gain over the Kinect's 640x480 30fps sensor. It can also be used to automatically detect players, though Sony hasn't detailed the exact application of the feature.

Some Playstation 4 Features:

Video Sharing:
The PlayStation 4 will also include some nifty video-sharing features, such as the ability to stream video from games as you’re playing them. Additionally, you can watch the games of friends over the PlayStation Network, which makes the system a whole lot more integrated and social. You will also be able to share videos and screenshot from games to services like PSN, Facebook and Ustream. This is part of Sony’s quest to make sharing of video as popular as possible on the PS4 as screenshots are today.

Controlling Friend’s Games Remotely:
PS4 will allow gamers to remotely control games their friends are playing to help them get through a tough spot.

PS Vita Integration:
There’s heavy integration, as to be expected, with the PS Vita, and Sony even made comparisons with Nintendo Wii U and NVIDIA’s Project Shield in outlining its intentions at the announcement. PS Vita integration will allow gamers to play and resume PS4 games on PS Vita seamlessly via Remote Play.

iOS And Android Devices As Second Controller:
Companion apps will be made available for iOS and Android which will turn the said powered devices into a second game controller for PS4.

PlayStation Move Compatibility:
The PlayStation 3′s roster of games will not immediately work with the PS4, but the PlayStation Move controller does. Just as Microsoft is said to be preparing a Kinect 2.0 to be bundled along with the next-gen Xbox, the PlayStation Move could perhaps have done with an upgrade of its own. But hey, at least it still works.

User Interface:
The look and feel of the UI is set to change dramatically. The XrossMediaBar will make way, and the new look closely represents the look of the PlayStation Network of late. Although it’s a bit early to cast aspersions, it looks good, and it’s hard not to get a little bit excited about Sony’s upcoming release – even if we don’t yet have the next-gen Xbox to compare it to.

No Booting Of Games Required, You Can Download As You Play:
When streaming a video or music track online, one can begin viewing, or indeed listening, while the download is in progress. Recognizing how useful it can be to start enjoying content before the whole download has completed, Sony has applied this same mindset to games, and now, eager gamers can begin playing their online games before the download has reached the magic 100 percent. Based on Sony’s well-documented purchase of cloud company Gaikailast year, it means you needn’t boot before playing your downloaded title, and the system also allows downloads to run in the background and additionally, when the machine is powered off.

Chivalry Medieval Warfare Review

Chivalry Medieval Warfare Review
By: Streetkilln

Title: Chivalry Medieval Warfare
Genre: Action, Indie
Platform: PC
Price: $25.00

Chivalry Medieval Warfare. this is a Middle Ages based game with very Gorey/Bloody effects. I would say the people that would like this game would be gamers interested in Middle Ages times and people who like Call of duty. Why i say Call of duty? Well its pretty simple the game has game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Dual (which is similar to Cage match on COD4), Team Objective (which is basically the same as Any Team Objective on Call of duty but in its on styled theme.). There are also Classes to choose from. The classes are Archer, Man-At-Arms, Vanguard and Knight. The classes has its own Weapons and Equipment to choose from from the start. You have to rank your way up on weapon kills to Unlock other weapons. So just like on Call of duty you can edit your own load out. When you get the game and start playing a few matches you will the game is pretty simple and straight forward just kill kill kill and watch arms, legs and heads fly off.

My thought about this game is that is pretty fun. slashing people with your sword watching blood splat and head fly off its pretty crazy. The game modes i find very fun is Dual and Free for All. It might not be your preference of game type but for this game maybe so. So take a sword and slash your way through opponents or take a bow and stick arrows into there bodies or maybe stab them with a spear and just have fun and watch them limbs fly off.

Below is my gameplay of Chivalry Medieval Warfare in a Free for All match. Start the video and enjoy. Maybe it will make you interested in buying the game.
